While boiling one litre water, you can add some basil leaves, mint leaves, two cloves and a piece of ginger. Let it cool down to the room temperature and then keep sipping it throughout the day.

7. Hot Chicken Soup
Your favourite chicken soup can help your drain the sinus with its mucus completely. The hot flavoured soup will open up the congestion and your airways immediately, allowing you to breathe.
The steam of the soup while drinking it can help ease the sinus pain too.
Chicken Soup is said to treat inflammation of the sinusitis.
8. Neti Pot
In Ayurveda, using a Neti Pot is considered to be a very effective way of treating sinus. The Nasal Irrigitation process is often used to calm the symptoms and pain of sinus infection.
You can simply pour the saline solution using the pot into your nostrils while keeping your heading titled. Careful do the same in the other nostril.
You should make sure you use only distilled water as the water from the tap can contain many contaminants or bacteria that can be very harmful.
9. Warm and Cold Compress
Use a cotton cloth and dip it in a pot of hot water, then place the cloth on your forehead. Let the cloth’s warmth be absorbed by your head and then repeat. You may also use cold water for a similar process.
This can help increase blood circulation towards your sinus inflammation.
10. Pungent Spices
Many pungent spices’ spicy flavour can often help the phlegm or mucus break down. You may add some spices to a pot of water. Boil it with the water and consume it as a spices tea.
You can use cloves, cayenne pepper, cinnamon sticks, cardamom and other such spices.
Although sinus is very difficult to handle, it is a very fortunate thing that sinus can be easily treated. In case the sinus pain becomes worse, you should consult a doctor soon.
Some people even have a throat infection, tonsilitis or ear infection with a sinus infection. This can be even difficult to treat.
